Therapy Session Fee

The fee for a standard 50 minute consultation is $250. Please note that the Australian Psychological Society's (APS) recommended rate is $315. Sessions are available both in person and online to accommodate your needs and preferences.

Medicare Rebates 

As a Medicare provider I am able to provide psychological treatment under various referral pathways. Your GP may refer you under a GP Mental Health Care Plan. As a Clinical Psychologist, the rebate under this referral is $141.85 and you would be entitled to a maximum of ten subsidised sessions per calendar year.

 You may also be eligible to receive services under a Team Care Arrangement, a program which covers $58.30 for a maximum of five sessions over a 12-month period.

For your convenience Medicare claims can be electronically submitted using the Medicare Easyclaim system on the same day of your consultation

Medicare Safety Nets

Medicare sets limits to reduce out-of-pocket medical expenses for individuals and families. Once you reach a certain spending amount within a calendar year, your therapy costs will decrease thanks to these thresholds.

Private Insurance

If you have Private Health Insurance and depending on the type of cover you have, you may be eligible to receive refunds for psychological services. Please call your insurance company to find out about your entitlements.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To avoid cancellation fees, please provide adequate notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur the full session fee of $250 unless in case of an emergency. If you cancel within 48 hours, a fee of $100 will apply. These fees allow me to fill the spot and provide timely support to other clients.
