Dedication to Personalised Clinical Psychology
I have worked in a broad variety of mental health settings including public health, hospitals, and private practice since 2004.
Since founding my private practice in Bulimba in 2017, I have been committed to providing exceptional care to my clients.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to addressing critical mental health challenges, such as suicide risk and child abuse. My doctoral research focused on suicide risk assessment and management. I have actively presented on this topic to raise awareness and promote evidence-based practices.
With a diverse background in clinical psychology and a strong commitment to my work, I strive to deliver compassionate, effective, and individualised care to each client I serve.
"The therapeutic process is both a science and an art"
A Glimpse Into My World
Outside of my professional role, I cherish spending time with my family, creating music, cooking, cycling, and travel.
As a connoisseur of the tragically absurd, I often find laughter in life’s most peculiar twists and turns!
I find inspiration in the striking parallels between the worlds of creating music and therapy. Just as so many beautiful songs share common elements whilst remaining inherently unique, effective therapy blends evidence-based treatments with an artful, individualised approach.
As a child migrant from Poland and lifelong avid traveler, I deeply appreciate the rich tapestry of human diversity and the influence of contexts and environments on our lives.
Travel has also taught me that things don’t always go as planned and that there’s growth in unexpected adventures, like being electrocuted in a Bolivian shower, which, trust me, is a “shocking” experience!
